Import Photos from Your Phone While Designing on Your Computer

Overview

This article explains how to import photos from your phone directly into the Inkifi editor on your computer using the QR code feature. This is the fastest way to use mobile photos while designing on a bigger screen.

1. Start Your Project on Your Computer

  1. Go to the product page you’d like to create.
  1. Click Customize to open the editor.

2. Import Photos From Your Phone

  1. In the top left of the editor, click Import Photos.
  1. Select Upload photos from your phone.
  1. A QR code will appear.

3. Scan the QR Code on Your Phone

  1. Open your phone’s camera app.
  1. Point it at the QR code.
  1. Tap the link that appears.

This opens a page where you can select images directly from your phone.

4. Select Photos to Upload

  1. Choose the images you want from your Camera Roll / Photo Library.
  1. Confirm your selection.
  1. Your photos will upload automatically into the editor on your computer.

You can continue designing while they upload — progress will show in the editor.

5. Troubleshooting

QR code not scanning?

  • Make sure the QR code is fully visible (no scrolling / no cropping).
  • Try increasing your screen brightness.
  • If needed, open your Camera app → tap the “scan QR code” toggle.

Uploads slow or stalling?

  • Switch your phone to Wi-Fi.
  • Avoid locking your screen during upload.
